Traders Point Christian scored first and last as the visitors from Indianapolis held on for a 26-22 victory at North Central on Friday night in a high school football game.
The loss snapped a two-game North Central winning streak as the Thunderbirds slipped to 2-5.
The Thunderbirds finished with 314 yards of total offense.
Quarterback Jacob Adams rushes 18 times for 59 yards and a touchdown.
Jeremiah Swalls had 17 rushes for 67 yards.
Tyler Vaughn had nine carries for 32 yards and Rowdy Pierson had 15 yards on seven attempts.
Adams was 5 of 9 passing for 141 yards and two TDs, both to Wyatt Ison.
Ison had the two receptions for 72 yards., Vaughn caught two for 48 yards and DeShawn Clark had one for nine.
Swalls had a two-point conversion after Adams rushed around left end for a score as North Central led 8-7 at the half.
Adams had a two-point conversion run after Ison’s second TD reception as North Central went ahead late in the fourth quarter.
North Central will conclude the regular season at 7 p.m. Friday in a Southwest Conference game.
