Sullivan Post 139 picked up two American Legion baseball wins this week.
On Sunday, Sullivan scored one run in the top of the eighth to register a 5-4 victory.
Peyton Yeryar pitched 4 ⅔ innings and earned the win. Tyler Kellett allowed just two hits in 3 ½ innings of relief.
Yeryar helped his own cause with one hit, one run and one RBI.
Kellett had two hits and two RBIs.
Eli Steimel was 1-for-2 with three walks and one run scored.
Jacob Cox was 2-for-4 with one run scored.
Clayton Stone had a hit and Carter McKee scored a run.
On Tuesday, Post 139 beat the Terre Haute Junior Legion 12-2 in five innings.
Marcus Roshel allowed five hits and two runs as he tossed a five-inning complete game.
Roshel helped his own cause with a double, two runs and one RBI.
Donoven McKinney, Cox, Hawkins and Ryder Pinkston each had a hit.
McKee, Pinkston, Carson Jernigan (two), Yeryar (two), Cox and McKinney each scored for Post 139.
Roshel, McKinney, Cox, Jacob Hawkins and Pinkston each drove in a run.
