North Central

Linton-Stockton outscored North Central 11-3 in overtime as the two-time defending Class 2A state champions defeated the host Ladybirds 50-42 in a Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference high school girls basketball game on Thursday night.

The Lady Miners improved to 4-1 overall while North Central lost in first game in four decisions.

Shelby Seay led the Ladybirds with 11 points. Nobody else reached double figures.

Bradie Chambers led the winners with 13 points. Sydney Jerrells scored 10 points.
