South Knox scored 26 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough as the host Lady Spartans lost a 70-67 decision to Sullivan on Wednesday night in a high school girls basketball game.

Gracie Shorter (26) and Delainey Shorter (25) combined to score 51 points to pace the Lady Arrows.

Each hit two 3-pointers as Gracie made 10 field goals and 4 of 8 at the foul line.

Delainey connected on 7 of 10 foul shots and eight total field goals.

Kimber Ladson hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 10 points. Klaire Williams added eight points and Jacie Wilson made one free throw.

Avery Wiltermood also played for the Lady Arrows, who trailed 19-12 after the first quarter and 29-28 at intermission.

Sullivan outscored SK 17-12 in the third quarter to forge ahead 45-41 after three quarters.

Macie Couchenour scored 25 points to pace the Lady Spartans.

Jordyn Derourin scored 21 points and Ella Bobe added 11 points.

Sullivan will play a varsity-only Western Indiana Conference game at 6 p.m Friday at Northview.
