Letter to the Editor: Response to 'Trooper in a truck misses the mark'
I find the editorial from the Anderson Herald Bulletin offensive.
As a person who has lost a sister due to negligence on the part of another driver, I think our police should use any means available to them to remove irresponsible drivers from our highways before they cause an accident. I see no difference in putting an officer in a truck or flying overhead.
I suppose the author of this editorial also finds fault with an officer posing online as a teenager to catch a child molester.
With the amount of fatalities on our highways, I support any and all methods to prevent any other families from the heartache of losing someone to a stupid accident that could have been prevented.
