Lori Lynn Loudermilk Burnett

Lori Lynn Loudermilk Burnett, 62, Terre Haute, was called to

heaven on Sept. 9, 2021, following a brief illness.

She was born on Sept. 26, 1958, in Sullivan, to William Loudermilk and

Glenda (Barron) Mood. Lori graduated from Sullivan High School in 1976

and had a dedicated 25-year career with the United States

Penitentiary, Terre Haute. Friends describe her as a beautiful spirit,

a loyal confidant and a true friend. She loved spending time with her

children and grandchildren, traveling and attending live music

concerts with Eric as well reading. She is now at rest among the

angels.

Lori is preceded in death by her father, William Loudermilk; and her

stepfather, Oscar “Red” Mood; both of whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her fiancé, soulmate and best friend, Eric Gloe;

her adored mother, Glenda Mood; her beloved children, Cody (and

Shayne) Burnett and Megan Burnett; her five grandchildren, Bradyn

Burnett, Liam Burnett, Ella Burnett, Kenzlee McKim and Brett McKim,

who were her pride and joy; her siblings, Scott Loudermilk and Micki

Payne; and many adoring friends and extended family members.

A private graveside service will take place at Center Ridge Cemetery

with the Rev. David Cox officiating. A celebration of life will be

conducted at a later date.
