Salvation Army on Donut Day

Contributed photo

The Sullivan County Salvation Army delivered donuts to the Sullivan

County Clerk's Office at the courthouse in recognition of National

Donut Day on Friday. It was their way of honoring the women of the

Salvation Army who served donuts at the front lines during WWI. It is

also their way of saying thank you to the police, fire, ambulance and

other public servants. Pictured from the Salvation Army are, Matt

Cress, Amy Cress, Allison Cress, Michele Smith, Lloyd Smith and

Charlotte Himebrook.
