Post-High School: pursuing a degree in aeronautical engineering technology and global studies at Purdue University

Career: “I am currently unsure on the exact career path I would like to follow; however, I believe I would like to work in the aviation industry.”

Favorite Memory: “My favorite memory from school was being able to go on an educational trip to London and Paris.”

North Central High School Valedictorian

Activities: JETS engineering competition team captain, Beta Club, Academic Super Bowl

Post-High School: pursuing a degree in computer science at Purdue University

Career: “Starting a software company — I have always loved computers, programming, technology, etc.”

Favorite Memory: “All the long nights of writing huge papers in a single night due to my procrastinational tendencies.”

Post-High School: pursuing a degree in neuroscience, on a pre-medicine track, at IUPUI and medical school

Career: “I plan to become a neurologist because of my love of science and helping others.”

Favorite Memory: “My favorite memory from school was my senior year football pep session.”

 

Emily Joanne Edwards

Post-High School: pursuing a degree in nursing from Ball State University.

Career: “After obtaining my bachelor’s in science and nursing, I plan to attend grad school to become a family nurse practitioner where I will be able to help and interact closely with patients.”

Favorite Memory: “All of the amazing trips, competitions, people and teammates.”

Post-High School: pursuing a degree in chemistry at Indiana State University and for orthodontics at IUPUI

Career: “Owning my own orthodontist office to help others feel comfortable with ho they look.”

Favorite Memory: “Being in Leo Club to help citizens in the community get through hard times and to be able to enjoy stress-free holidays.”

Career: “Possibly a history or English major of one form or another.”

Favorite Memory: “My government class: We do our lesson and have fun talking about usually controversial subjects.”

Post-High School: pursuing a degree in biochemistry, pre-medicine concentration, at Purdue University and medical school

Career: “I hope to become a pediatrician and return to my community because I enjoy helping others and learning about science.”

Favorite Memory: “My favorite high school memory is starting off my senior tennis season by playing doubles with my sister Courtney as my doubles partner.”

Career: “I plan on entering the medical field on a path to become a surgeon. The medical field is a fast-paced and ever-changing experience, which I highly enjoy.”

Favorite Memory: “My favorite memory from school is a natural gas experiment in chemistry class; we had the chance to hold fire on our bare hands.”

Career: “My current plans are to become a dentist or orthodontist so that I can help other people.”

Favorite Memory: “Beating Monrovia to get the sectional championship this past football season.”
