Sullivan High School recently received a $1,000 donation from Hoosier Energy, which will be used to assist purchasing additional pieces of technology for the programs.
Chad LeDune, who teaches the programs, said he is very thankful for the generous donation.
“We are blessed to live in a community in which businesses like Hoosier Energy see value in what we provide our students,” he explained. “Their donation will allow us to purchase materials critical for the advancement of our program.”
In particular, the donation assisted with the purchase of VEX Robotics competition boards for the SHS robotics class.
CTE programs apply math, science and technical skills that will help prepare students for today’s workforce.
