New Middle School Record Holder

During a middle meet at Linton-Stockton last week, Sullivan eighth grader Isaac Bedwell broke the SMS record in the pole vault when he cleared 10 feet, 5inches to win the event. Pictured along with Bedwell is older brother Wes who previously held the record. The elder Bedwell was a sectional champion in the event at SHS and went on to vault collegiately at Wabash College.
Isaac's mark last week would have been good for sixth place at the boys high school Western Indiana Conference meet.
