South blanks Sullivan
Sullivan collected five hits in a 9-0 loss to Terre Haute South in a high school softball game on Friday at Sullivan.
Maclynne Steele went 3-for-3 to pace the Lady Arrows.
Starting catcher Madison Robbins had a double and Carly Brown had the other hit for Sullivan.
Jocee Sackett struck out 12 and walked none as she tossed a shutout for South, who improved to 6-3.
Caroline Jones led the winners with three hits, including two home runs and four RBIs.
Mariah Wills allowed 16 hits and nine runs, eight earned. In the complete-game loss, Wills struck out one and walked none.
Sullivan will play today at Owen Valley.
