Ladybirds win fourth straight

North Central won its fourth straight girls basketball game but coach Joey Davidson knows his team can play better.
“We got the win. We didn’t have a great all-around effort,” Davidson said after 60-54 Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conferenc victory on Saturday. “We have to play with better energy.”
“Give WRV all the credit. They came to play and did well. Hopefully we will learn from this.”
North Central improved 11-7, 4-2 in the SWIAC as Rachel Shroyer had 16 points and 13 rebounds.
Averi Davidson had 14 points and Courtney Williams made her first appearance of 2018, scoring 10 points.
WRV dropped to 5-13 overall, 2-3 in the conference.
North Central’s game with South Putnam on Monday was postponed.
The Ladybirds are scheduled to host Riverton Parke on Wednesday.
