Fire damaged a rural Dugger home and halted traffic for about two hours Saturday night.

Dugger Town Marshal Dave Heaton said the cause of the fire at 2402 South SR 159 was ruled electrical.

The Dugger Fire Department was dispatched the fire at 7 p.m. to find the front of the home was burning. No one was in the home as crews worked to extinguish the blaze.

The fire forced emergency crews to close 159 for about two hours, Heaton said, to provide room for the fire and emergency vehicles.

No injuries were reported.
