NESC trustees hire Hudson as new football coach
In a short meeting, Northeast School Corp. Board of Trustees tapped Brad Hudson to oversee the varsity football team on Tuesday.
“I’m excited for the opportunity,” said Hudson, who is currently serving as North Central High School’s interim assistant principal and athletic director. “I think there’s a lot of talented kids and a great community up here at North Central.”
He is taking over after the former coach, Travis Nolting, moved on to a coaching job at Greenfield-Central High School in Greenfield.
The trustees unanimously selected Hudson within two minutes of the start of their meeting.
“At this time, after all of the references, checking and so on, and interviewing, I would like to recommend Brad Hudson,” Baker told the board.
“It’s an honor, to be honest …” Hudson added Wednesday. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity. I’m really am. It’s a great situation to move into.”

He added that there were some kinks but those would be addressed by the time another such day is held.
